Emergency Safety Planning

Ensuring safety for oneself and one’s family is always top priority. If possible, always get to safety first. If you are unable to do so, call 9-1-1. For long-term safety planning, call Dinah at 215-645-2142. Dinah will help you connect with other organizations in the area to secure short-term and long-term housing, employment, counseling, and anything else you and your family may need.

Request an Intake

We are ready and able to meet you at a secure and safe location for an intake, or to do so over the phone. After you speak with one of our intake volunteers, we will go over the next steps with you to secure representation to meet all of your legal needs. To schedule an intake, please call Dinah at 215-645-2142.

**Speaking with an intake volunteer does not bind you in any legal agreement or initiate any legal proceeding. There will never be a fee for speaking with one of our intake volunteers and we’ll never share any of your information without your explicit permission, and only after thorough vetting.**

How to Help a Friend

It is always stressful, painful, and scary for friends and family to watch someone they love get hurt. If you are concerned about someone you love, please give us a call at 215-645-2142 and we’ll discuss with you what next steps may best help your loved one.

If you know someone is presently in danger, call 9-1-1.

For safety reasons, Dinah cannot call someone based on your third-party referral, but we can call you back, and speak with them on your phone, or they can call us back directly when it’s safe to do so.

If you would like to learn how to be the best ally to a friend in need, all of our trainings and public speaking engagements are open to the public. Check our calendar for upcoming trainings and speaking engagements around Philadelphia.
